At next launch, I only got the popup.^^I'm just supecting that at first run on the desktop, the nasty popup came out too; but as I have task manager and other app to monitor gpu/cpu always on foreground; Chance is that I just pushed the popup aside with those windows without looking at it content and just envoyed discovering a bit PD Howler. Yes that's possible.the installer usually elevates itself to run as Administrator once the first time at end of installation. It's a bit more difficult from Steam, but it was possible to make it work somehow.
(kudos to our distributor who made it work:-) )on occasion, some registry information may get lost, and make it necessary to run it again as admin just once to reset things like associations of dependencies.I run my several instances from PD Particles to PD Artist to multiple editions of Howler all in Admin mode.
