- This is a somewhat generic guide on how to change Bios settings for locked Bios used by Acer, HP and a few others who use InsydeH20 bios. This guide has been used on an Acer V3-371-58C2 but should be very similar for other InsydeH20 bios. This laptop has Broadwell Intel Core i5-5200U with HD Graphics 5500 up to 2005 MB DVM.
- Feb 03, 2012 Unlock all hidden options for insydeh20 bios. Try to get a 'real' one from HP or give me some link; since when I patch your dump only you can use it, but others would get YOUR settings. Please unlock my advanced setting for insydeH2O rev 3.5 v 1.27 for my acer 5742 (, 01:41 AM).

First why did I am asking this here:I called HP support and they said if I want to reset my BIOS password then I want to go a service center and they need to replace bios chip and motherboard ( i have no idea why ). This is why I am asking here for any insights.My laptop is HP ENVY - 17-ae108ca and I did set a BIOS admin password ( i regret now ) and unfortunately I forgot that. This laptop is just two weeks old and I did install centos in that now everything works fine but the problem is every time I need to boot priority menu and change to centos to boot to centos otherwise it will boot direct to windows.So is there anyway I can reset the bios password? I tried multiple times with wrong password and I got this messageSystem Disabled i 49915935 Any help will be much appreciatedIs system restore will reset BIOS password?
Jul 03, 2015 I would like to Increase Dedicated Video RAM in my laptop and I can if you guys help me out with a BIOS mod for unlocking the menu. I have an HP 2000 Notebook and Insyde F.46 BIOS hopefully someone can help me out I got Intel Pentium and I Need! An unlock for more dedicated video RAM right now I have 32mb and I can increase it if someone helps thank you!
